WHOLE FAMILY SERVICES
WHOLE FAMILY program
Whole Family Services is a comprehensive program offered by MEIRS that focuses on supporting families through the Whole Family Approach. We understand that the well-being of children, adults, and the community is deeply interconnected, and our services aim to address the diverse needs of all family members.
Through the Whole Family Services program, we provide families with the tools, resources, and support they need to set and achieve their goals together. Our dedicated bridging case managers, who are trained in the Whole Family Services approach, work closely with families to develop personalized plans and guide them towards long-term change and stability.
Our program takes a prevention-focused approach, aiming to empower families with the necessary skills and resources to avoid poverty and create sustainable improvements in their lives. By placing equal priority on the needs of adults and children, we ensure that families receive comprehensive support that addresses their unique circumstances.
Families enrolled in Whole Family Services have access to a wide range of support services. Our bridging case managers help families connect with various organizations and resources in areas such as:
♦ Housing
♦ immigration assistance
♦ legal support
♦ employment opportunities
♦ food assistance
♦ Childcare
♦ Healthcare
♦ Education for both children and adults
♦ substance use treatment
♦ Mental health services
♦ Parenting support
♦ Transportation assistance and more
We believe in removing barriers and facilitating seamless collaboration among multiple service providers to effectively support families in achieving their goals.
To be eligible for Whole Family Services, families should have children under the age of 18 and meet the income requirement of 200% or less of the federal poverty level, or receive food stamps/TANF. Asylum seekers who meet these criteria are also eligible for our services. It’s important to note that our program does not require a mental health diagnosis and does not impact any other services or programs families may be receiving.
