Maine Immigrant & Refugee Services  address gun violence in our neighborhoods.

Our community is taking a stand.

For the past couple of months, MEIRS staff, youth, and parents have been working on ways to address gun violence in our community, and we are excited to announce Voices Against Gun Violence – a campaign dedicated to educating our community and raising awareness about gun violence.

Since June is National Gun Violence Prevention Month, our 30 Days, 30 Voices campaign will lift up one voice, one topic, or one activity every single day for all 30 days of June – because change begins when we speak up, learn, and act together.

Gun violence is an issue that requires collective effort. Whether you are a young person, a parent, a faith leader, a funder, or simply a neighbor – your voice is essential.
