Our Cultural Competency Courses are designed to provide the knowledge and tools needed to help you understand and support the Somali immigrant and refugee population and understanding the cultural differences that will help to provide services with those cultural differences in mind.

Our courses are designed for medical professionals, interpreters and those that want to provide support in other ways such Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

Want to become a trained Mental Health Interpreter? This is a 40 hour mental health interpreter training course designed to prepare you to become a trained MHIT.

Mental Health Professionals, Working With Interpreter vs Cultural Broker
This course covers the difference between a interpreter and cultural broker in the mental health field, utilizing cultural appropriate ways of providing mental health services to diverse population.
